NEEDS STATEMENT: County of Los Alamos is soliciting proposals from providers of the social services known as Family Resources, Support, and Parent Education Program. Purpose of this RFP is to procure services for families to assist with the identification of children’s developmental delays, to provide effective intervention/treatment services, to provide opportunities for participating parents and caregivers to connect with one another, to increase parents’/caregivers’ understanding of child development, to increase participants’ sense of confidence and self-esteem as parents and caregivers, change expectations and perceptions, and actuate changes in parent/caregiver behavior.

Deadline to submit Proposals: 2:00 pm (MST) Thursday, October 20, 2022

Only one of the following submission methods is required:

Sealed Proposals in one (1) clearly labeled unbound original and four (4) bound paper copies (if submitting in paper form), subject to the conditions set forth in the Instructions to Proposers and in the other Solicitation Documents, will be received at the Office of the Los Alamos County Purchasing Officer, 101 Camino Entrada, Bldg. 3, Los Alamos, NM 87544.

Considering the current COVID-19 (corona virus) outbreak, until further notice, the following procedure is in effect: Proposals may also be submitted electronically by email (address to be provided in solicitation documents) in pdf format. Subject line of the email must contain the following information: RESPONSE –RFP23-38 Family Resources, Support and Parent Education Program (Intervention/Treatment Focus).
