Description
The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit sealed proposals from a qualified engineering firm to establish a contract through competitive negotiations for the procurement of services for development of the scope of work and project delivery method for the redesign and reconstruction of the Buckman Direct Diversion Facility (“BDD Facility”). The Buckman Direct Diversion Board (“BDDB”) requires, among other things, an analysis of Rio Grand River Conditions; analysis of necessary engineering, construction, and budgeting for redesign and reconstruction of the BDD Facility; development of a scope of work for the redesign and reconstruction contractor; support for arriving at a workable project delivery method and RFP; and potential design and construction oversight for a duration of up to a four year contract. The selected engineering firm will develop and provide a comprehensive preliminary report to the BDDB, detailing cost projections and a plan to accomplish the above and below stated scope of work in section IV, Section A.
