The City of Albuquerque’s Department of Family and Community Services (DFCS) is inviting qualified nonprofit organizations or government agencies to submit proposals for providing the following Area Agency on Aging Older Americans Act funded services:

1.Case Management, 2. Information and Assistance, 3. Outreach/Client Finding, 4. Transportation, 5. Assisted Transportation, 6. Legal Assistance, 7. Adult Day Care / Respite Adult Day Care, 8. Nutrition (Congregate and Home Delivered Meals), 9. Recreation/Senior Center Activities, 10. Physical Fitness/Exercise, 11. Evidence-Based Health Promotion and Disease Prevention Programs, 12. Caregiver Support (Counseling, Training, Outreach, etc.), 13. Senior Supplemental Nutritional Support, 14. Health Screening, Education and Maintenance, 15. Medication Management, 16. Home Repair/Retrofit/Maintenance, 17. Chore, 18. Grocery Delivery.

Individual requests for technical assistance must be submitted through the Bonfire portal up until seven calendar days prior to submission deadline. Responses to questions in writing will be posted on the Bonfire portal.

Respondents must submit their proposals no later than 5:00 p.m. MST on Wednesday, November 30th, 2022. Proposals must be submitted through the Bonfire portal. In order to submit, responders must be registered in the Bonfire system. Registration takes some time to complete. It is recommended responders register in advance of the deadline as late proposals will not be accepted.
