The Indian Health Service, Navajo Area, Gallup Service Unit in Gallup, NM intends to negotiate a single source award with TELE/DATA Contractors INC D.B.A. Teledata Technologies for installation of a video intercom system and door access for multiple departments and wards. The contractor will provide two way door video intercom and CCTV IP cameras for multiple viewpoints at door entrances and software/hardware support for the new system. The period of performance is 6/13/2023-6/12/2024. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 334290- Other Communications Equipment Manufacturing with a Small Business Administration size standard of 800 employees.

In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold, contracting officers may solicit from only one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available.

This Notice of Intent is not a request for quotations and a solicitation will not be issued in conjunction with this Notice of Intent. Any vendor that believes it can satisfy the stated requirements may provide a capability statement. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. Responses to this notice shall be submitted no later than 10:00AM (MDT) on 6/12/2023. Responses can be submitted via email to Rodney.Brown@ihs.gov.

A determination by the Government on whether to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competition or proceed with a single-source award.
