Description

The Indian Health Service (IHS), Navajo Area (Gallup Service Unit – located in Gallup, NM; Crownpoint Service Unit – located in Crownpoint, NM; Shiprock Service Unit – located in Shiprock, NM; Kayenta Service Unit – located in Kayenta, AZ; and Chinle Service Unit in Chinle, AZ) has an upcoming requirement for Fellowship Services. IHS desires to establish a contract with a University or Medical School who offers a fellowship program throughout the United States in support of rural health care unmet needs.







The period of performance will be as follows:





Base Year: October 1st, 2023 through September 30th, 2024



1st Option Year: October 1st, 2024 through September 30th, 2025



2nd Option Year: October 1st, 2025 through September 30th, 2026



3rd Option Year: October 1st, 2026 through September 30th, 2027



4th Option Year: October 1st, 2027 through September 30th, 2028





The North American Industry Classification System or NAICS code is 621111 with a small business size standard of $12.0 M.





The Request for Quotations No. 75H71023Q00028 using the principles of FAR 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items in conjunction with FAR 13.5 Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be issued on or by 08/08/2023. Evaluation factors may include:





Required capabilities and performance characteristics:





1. Successfully completed an accredited residency program and be Board Certified or Board Eligible.



2. Successfully be accepted to a Fellowship program participating in the award of this contract.



3. Have a full and unrestricted medical license to practice in at least one of the states or territories of the United States.



4. Price





Quotes will be due on or by 09/07/2023. The acquisition is Unrestricted.





In accordance with 52.204-7(b)(1) prospective contractors must have – and maintain (in accordance with 52.204-13(c) – an active profile in the System for Award Management at SAM.gov in order to submit a quote.
