Description

The Indian Health Service, Gallup Service Unit (GSU), located in Gallup, New Mexico 87301 intends to negotiate a sole source award with Guard RFID Solutions Inc. for Infant Abduction System Software Maintenance Agreement Support Policy for 5 Years. The North American Industry Classification System or NAICS code is 513210 with a small business size standard of $47.0 Million Dollars.





Period of Performance from July 15, 2023 through July 14, 2028 for Base Year plus Four (4) Option Years. In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), for purchases not exceeding the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT) Contracting Officers may solicit from only one source if the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source is reasonably available (e.g. urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand name, or industrial mobilization). Guard RFID Solutions Inc. provides installation that will consist of a client/server workstation setup with wireless infant tags. The abduction system will monitor and alert the floor nurses and security officers in the event of an infant abduction. This is an upgrade of our existing Infant Abduction System for Gallup Indian Medical Center Pediatric & Women’s Health Units on the 3rd & 4th Floors that has reached its end of life.





This notice of intent is not a request for quotations and a solicitation will not be issued in conjunction with the notice of intent. Any potential sources other than Infant Abduction System for Gallup Indian Medical Center Pediatric & Women’s Health Units on the 3rd & 4th Floors may submit a capability statement via electronic mail by 10:00 AM MDT on July 7, 2023. Any other form of communication will not be considered.





A determination by the Government whether to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competition or proceed with a single-source award.
