Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE TO TALEN-X INC.:





The 377 Mission Support Group Contracting Office, Kirtland AFB, New Mexico intends to award a sole source contract to TALEN-X INC.: (cage code 7NK54), 1610 SW Main ST STE 202 Ankeny, Iowa 50023-7283, United States. TALEN-X INC will be able to provide an upgrade the SDRs (Software Defined Radios) of the BroadSim while reusing current implemented parts that still fulfill the requirement, and integrating them all together so that the system can simultaneously generate and broadcast all four L band muliti-GNSS signals (L1, L2, L5 & L6) at the same time, therefore providing more capability to replicate the realistic live-sky environment inside of the Anechoic chamber.





This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b). The anticipated award date is 08 September 2023. Please note that this is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the product/services listed above.





A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.





A Sole Source Justification Letter will be posted with the Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source IAW Far 6.305(a).
