The Navajo Area Indian Health Service (NAIHS), Gallup Service Unit, Tohatchi Health Center intends to negotiate a single-sourced, firm-fixed-price contract with PROAIM Americas, LLC dba PROAIM Medical (UEIKECHQ6LN3HN7) under the authority at FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), only one source reasonably available. The vendor will provide a Carl Zeiss Clarus 500. The equipment will allow clinicians to use true color imaging to their diagnostic advantage. In addition, the equipment is compatible with their current Zeiss fundus camera, which will allow for better comparison between images to monitor the progress of retinal conditions.

The NAICS code is 339115, with an associated small business size standard of 1,000.

This notice of intent is not a request for quotations or proposals, and a competitive solicitation will not be issued. A determination by the Government whether to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
