INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE

Navajo Area Indian Health Services (NAIHS), Navajo Area Office intends to negotiate a one-time, sole source, firm fixed price contract with The Just Culture Company, 900 NW 6th Street, Suite 202, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33311 to provide a 2-day In Person Safety /Certification training for 35 NAIHS employee. The training will take place at Northern Navajo Medical Center in Shiprock, New Mexico. Address: US Hwy 491 North Shiprock, New Mexico 87420.

The proposed contractor shall provide the specified training at Northern Navajo Medical Center in Shiprock, New Mexico.

Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), for purchases not exceeding the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT) Contracting Officers may solicit from only one source if the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source is reasonably available (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand name, or industrial mobilization).

The proposed vendor meets the particular requirements of this solicitation which are most advantageous to the Government in terms of economy, efficiency, reliability of services.

Therefore, Just Culture Company is the only vendor capable of fulfilling the requirements of NAIHS employees.

This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive proposals. There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes. Only emailed responses will be considered. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence, that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. Last day to provide affirmative written response is July 31, 2023, 10am MST.

A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement base upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
