Description

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is seeking competent and qualified Facilities Maintenance contractors to perform Janitorial services at the following eight (8) facilities in New Mexico and Texas:



1) Roswell Service Support Center (SSC),




  • 30 West Challenger, Roswell, New Mexico - Facility to be cleaned encompasses approximately 3,159 sq. ft.

  • Daily Cleaning Services – 3 days per week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday),



2) Amarillo System Service Center (SSC),




  • 1920 English Road, Amarillo, Texas - Facility to be cleaned encompasses approximately 2,700 sq. ft., which includes the following areas listed on attachment J-1A:

  • All services are to be performed inside this facility are to be completed during normal business hours, 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., with work to be completed no later than 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, except Federal holidays (exact times to be established by COR and contractor).



3) Amarillo Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT),




  • 2000 English Road Amarillo, Texas - Facility to be cleaned encompasses approximately 5,857 sq. ft., which includes the areas in attachment J-1B:

  • Square footage reflected is approximate and can be confirmed at contractor’s discretion. Building space is identified in the following space groups as line items in Attachment J-1B.

  • Daily Cleaning Services – 7 days per week (Monday thru Sunday)



4) Roswell Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT),




  • 30 West Challenger, Roswell, New Mexico. Facility to be cleaned encompasses approximately 10,000 sq. ft.

  • Daily Cleaning Services: 5 days per week. Time of day to be determined by Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) and Tower Manager.



5) Amarillo Long Range Radar Building (LRR),




  • 3601 N FM 1912 Amarillo, Texas. Facility to be cleaned encompasses approximately 3,000 sq. ft., which includes the areas shown on J- 1C.

  • Weekly Cleaning Services – Wednesday



6) Albuquerque Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT),




  • 2800 Kirtland Dr. SE, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87116 - Facility to be cleaned encompasses approximately 8,000 sq. ft. Square footage reflected is approximate and can be confirmed at contractor’s discretion. For the cleaning schedule see attachment J-1D.

  • Regular Working Hours. The Government's regular (normal) working hours are from STARTING HOUR (0600) to ENDING HOUR (1700), Mondays through Fridays except (a) Federal Holidays and (b) other days specifically designated by the Contracting Officer.



7) Santa Fe, Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT),




  • 121 Aviation Drive, Santa Fe, New Mexico 87507 - Facility to be cleaned encompasses approximately 2,201 sq. ft., Square footage reflected is approximate and can be confirmed at contractor’s discretion.

  • 3 days/week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, time of day service is be conducted will be between the hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.



8) El Paso Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT)




  • 2050 Hawkins Blvd. El Paso, Texas 79925 - Facility to be cleaned encompasses approximately 13,234 sq. ft., which includes the following areas:

  • Monday through Saturday - Square footage reflected is approximate and can be confirmed at contractor’s discretion. Building space is identified in the space groups as line items in attachment J-1E:





Below is a sample list of janitorial services to be provided at the above locations.




  1. Empty all wastebaskets and replace plastic liners daily.

  2. Vacuum all carpeted areas & remove spots daily.

  3. Clean and sanitize restroom toilets, sinks, stalls and urinals daily.

  4. Empty trash cans/ash trays and pick up trash in parking lot weekly.

  5. Dust cabinets above and beneath radar scopes in TRACON Control room and counter tops in the Tower Cab weekly.

  6. Wash tower windows both inside, outside, and window stanchions frame bi-weekly

  7. Clean, wax and buff all tile floors monthly.

  8. Clean all refrigerators externally which includes the sides and underneath the refrigerators monthly.

  9. Clean all air conditioning vents monthly.

  10. Clean and shampoo all carpet semi-annually.



This list is only a small sampling of janitorial services to be provided and is NOT all-encompassing. The contractor will be required to provide all labor, materials, supplies, and equipment (except Government furnished) to perform this work in accordance with the statement of work provided with the SIR and with all local, state, and federal laws.



This is NOT a Screening Information Request (SIR) or Request for Proposal (RFP).



Work will be done in an operational facility and the contractor shall comply with all procedures, rules and regulations of the facility authorities including limitations on equipment, allowable work hours, and other issues to ensure uninterrupted operations. All work shall be in accordance with the plans and specifications.
