FY23 NEW MEXICO ARMY AIR NATIONAL GUARD (NMARNG) BUILDING 1060 RENOVATION, KIRTLAND AIR FORCE BASE, BERNALILLO COUNTY, NEW MEXICO

The proposed procurement is a total Small Disadvantage Business set-aside, and thus competition is limited to bidders identified as a small business under NAICS 236210 with a size standard of $45,000,000.00. The magnitude of construction for this project will be between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. Bonding will be required for this acquisition. Offerors attention is directed to Section 00 21 00 in the Solicitation for information regarding the tour of the site. Plans will be issued on or about 20 June 2023, with proposals due on or about 20 July 2023. Offerors are advised that this requirement may be delayed, cancelled, or revised at any time during the solicitation, or final award process.

THE PROJECT consists of the renovation of Building 1060 at Kirtland Air Force Base for the NMARNG. Duties include repair administration and shop areas altering interior walls to improve operations. Repair Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system to meet the new functions. Replace roof with 30-year warranty product. Repair electrical systems to current safety requirements, replace existing lighting with energy efficient lighting and controls. Repair/renovate restrooms to include surfaces and fixtures to meet Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and employee gender ratios. Repair doors and door seals. Replace overhead doors with insulated sectional and roll up doors. Repair the fire suppression system. Repair entryway to provide a weather protected/sun shaded ADA entry on the exterior of the facility to meet base standards and local conditions.

THE PROJECT will be advertised as an Invitation to Bid. Proposed procurement will result in a firm-fixed price contract. This solicitation will be issued via Internet only. Notification of amendments shall be made via Internet only, as well. SAM.gov is a web-based dissemination tool designed to safeguard acquisition-related information for all Federal agencies.
